Delicate Wings: Giuliana

I am so excited to share my second piece of Delicate Wings! This piece is super special to me because it is named after my sister, Giuliana. I kept her in mind the whole time that I was designing it because when I was creating my collection, she was the one I went to when I was trying to pick and choose what I wanted to incorporate my collection. The goal of this piece was to make a matching formal set that had the comfort of a pair of sweatpants and a baggy T-shirt, so gathering and having a drawstring element was what first came to mind. Both the top and bottom have elastic and a drawstring on them in order to make the comfortability adjustable to the wearer. There is also a drawstring element on the pants for a fun design detail and to gather the pants and be more adjustable. Also, as a last minute element, there is a dart pocket to add storage onto the garment, but also to keep your hands warm. I am so happy with how this piece came out and it is a wonderful addition to Delicate Wings!
